School’s out for summer
Parish celebrates year’s successes   June 2, 2008

Most of Parish Episcopal's kindergartners through the Class of '08 aren't all that familiar with the 1972 Alice Cooper blockbuster song.

But the music was blaring and they were singing the song as they left school for their first day of summer.  All of Parish's students were out May 29. The school experienced one of its most successful ever while celebrating only its second graduating class.  full story...


Last Call  May 28, 2008
This is the final week of school for the 2007-2008 academic year. Classes run through Thursday at noon for most Parish students. The exceptions are 5th through 7th graders, who were dismissed at noon Wednesday.

Special blessing May 15, 2008
Bishop makes return trip to Parish

College Day 2008 May 6, 2008

Any break from uniform days are happily welcomed at Parish, and May 1 quickly has become one of the school's favorite exemptions. For just its second graduating class, Parish seniors wear college shirts representing their university choice on the first of May, the deadline to inform colleges of a decision after receiving admission notice. We did it! 12,000 jars of peanut butter  April 21, 2008
Parish delivered more than 12,000 jars of peanut butter to the North Texas Food Bank on Sunday afternoon. Parish exceeded its goal of 10,000 jars and turned in the highest total of the 10 non-profit organizations. The peanut butter drive was designed by  “Oprah’s Big Give”, a nationally televised reality show to encourage sharing resources throughout communities. full story...

Math, Speech & Debate Results

The Math team represented Parish well at the Cistercian High School math competition on January 19. Parish place fourth place overall in the team sweepstakes trophy. Freshman Andrew Wells placed third in the Individual scoring and third in the Algebra Closed competition and 2nd in the Geometry Closed competition.  full story...

Parish Episcopal students staged the school's first annual Madrigal Dinner on Nov. 30 to begin celebration of the Advent season. The middle school choir sang and students dressed in medieval costumes performed short skits in a dinner theater setting. Congratulations Lady Panthers Nov 9, 2007
Parish came within one game of reaching the TAPPS Class 5A state final before being eliminated Friday at the state tournament at TCU’s Rickel Building. Parish (25-14) lost a back-and-forth match to Houston Second Baptist in the semifinals before the Lady Panthers’ season came to an end. Parish won the third and fourth games after falling behind 0-2. Parish has begun a new ensemble of select singers to form the School’s premier singing group, Bel Canto.
