Parish Activities: Home and Abroad Space still available in Parish Summer programs Jun 19, 2008 Summer doesn’t mean Parish will be inactive. Parish students and teachers will spend time abroad, across the country in camps and internships and there will be plenty to do at the Hillcrest and Midway Campuses with a full schedule of camps and classes.
Parish students and teachers leave for Spain in June for a month living with host families. Parish students are in surgical seminars and architectural internships. Four Parish students were selected to participate in a six-week effort with the Exxon/Mobil Green Team to work on conservation and eco-friendly projects in North Texas.
Many students are working in community service with local organizations and some are working with church groups in mission work from Hungary to New Orleans.
At Parish, there are summer camps for all ages. There are activity camps at Hillcrest and sessions on everything from college entrance testing to Web design, Lego robotics and sports camps at Midway.
