Need-Based Financial Assistance Parish Episcopal School seeks to attract a diverse and talented student body and is committed to providing financial assistance to students who qualify. Need-based assistance is granted on the basis of demonstrated need and the availability of funds each year. Parish follows the guidelines of the School and Student Service for Financial Aid, a third party organization which analyzes the financial situation of applicants based on a number of factors. It is difficult to predict whether a family will qualify for financial aid, as circumstances vary so widely and the overall demand for financial aid may vary year to year.
In order to apply for financial aid for the academic year 2009-10, you must
- Submit the SSS Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) to School and Student Service for Financial Aid. Submitting your PFS online is the fastest way for the school to receive your report.
- Submit a letter addressed to the Financial Aid Committee stating the amount of financial aid you are requesting along with, if you so choose, an explanation of any unusual circumstances that have affected your family’s financial situation this year which you would like the School to consider.
- Provide the School with a copy of your signed 2008 federal tax form 1040, including all schedules and W-2 wage statements.
Parish must receive all of this information by April 1, 2009. If you have any questions, please contact Marci McLean at 972-852-8750.
