December Genre Study – Biography

Due 12-17- 08

  1. As you read your book, on a piece of notebook paper, write down the important facts and events that impacted your famous person. Be sure to include the following:
    • Date it occurred
    • What the fact or event was
    • Page in your book on which you found it

  1. Schedule a conference with me to go over you list. When I approve your notes, I will give the paper your need to complete a time line on your famous person.
  2. Hint: Try to finish your notes and book by Wed. 12/10. That will give you one full week to complete your time line.

4. Complete your time Line by choosing the ten most important events and adding the dates chronologically on the time line. If the event was a happy event, you will draw a symbol that represents the event above the line. If the event is an unhappy event you will draw the symbol to represent it below the time line. The ten events should span the persons lifetime.
