When you have
no formal homework, review your notes and Benders for 15 minutes. This habit will help you spend less time “cramming” when
there is more homework or when you need to prepare for a test. This page is not
a substitute for writing assignments down in your planner.
Late Work Guidelines (I will be firm about
this in Trimester 2 and 3):

1 day late,
11 points off. (Next school day, not next class day).
·
2 days late,
10 more points off. (Next class day).
·
After 2 days,
you will receive a zero.
·
If you are
absent on the day of a scheduled quiz or test, please be ready to take the quiz
or test the day you return.
Your grades are calculated as follows:
·
50% from
Tests and Large Projects
·
30% from
Quizzes, Class Work and Lab Work
·
20% from
Homework and Class Participation
Tutor hours in my classroom are Monday and
Thursdays from 3:30-4:00pm or by appointment.
